Hi,

I have one question: I would like to run Azure IoT Edge on a PLC which is has Windows 10 IoT as OS.
It needs to run without using Hyper-V because it is already in use by some realtime application running on the PLC.
Is there a way run Azure IoT Edge on windows without Hyper-V?

    Hello @Bruhn, Maik ,

Windows 10 IoT Core support ended with the release of IoT Edge version 1.1 and this version is also the last one supporting windows container. IoT Edge 1.1 LTS support will finish on December 13, 2022, see Azure IoT Edge supported systems
On Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019 with minimum build 17763 and with all current cumulative updates installed, the latest IoT Edge 1.4 LTS version is support as part of EFLOW Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows what requires Hyper-V, see also quickstart prerequisites
