I reset the laptop before giving it away, but before the reset is done I sold the laptop, I saw the laptop while resetting is at 70%, what will happen if the customer did not finish the reset in the laptop are all my files still there?

    It sounds like the laptop was turned off at 70%? If so there's really no way to know the machine state without looking at it again. Here's some info on what would happen if it were allowed to complete.

    Hi,

    If you choose Remove everything when resetting your PC, when you reset and remove everything it is essentially the same as doing a format and reload.

    If the customer has a full clean install of Windows 10, your files would be removed.
