issues with sync onedrive and SharePoint libraries, need help!
All Files of company was on BOX and FS and already migrated all data to SharePoint but the sync stucks and sometimes unlink the SharePoint sites from OneDrive client.
And sometimes OneDrive changed to be disabled on startup at Task Manager.
I tried with new laptop and windows 22H2 and enabled PS but same issue.
My Library has 300K+ Files, but I don’t think this is the problem… ( Because i tried to sync just 50K files and same issue
We were on BOX before we had 600K files on library and no issues sync.
And same thing with the network drives…
But this just example for what now I did to resolve it but for other all employees in the company I resolve it after Restart or sync again from SharePoint online.
Did can be the issue from Hybrid connect?
AD Connect = Windows server 2019 STD
Active directory schema = DC 1 with 2012 R2 the primary one DC2 with 2019 STD
problem the SharePoint unlinked from OneDrive client.
- Sync again
- Reinstall onedrive
- Regedit delete onedrive regs
- Install app onedrive from Microsoft store
- Check update windows ( up to date )
Nothing help to resolve the problem.
The problem resolved after add IN REGEDIT OneDrive 22.x Per-Machine Install - "Something Went Wrong" - Microsoft Community
REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\OneDrive\PreSignInRampOverrides /v 1559 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
ERROR message :
Cant open this file ( Make sure " NAME OF SITE " is runing on your pc, then try again
- The option Files On-Demand turned on, because if I uncheck it from client will sync all data on laptop and no one have 1.5TB SSD on laptops…
Pictures of error:
You said that you resolve it after Restart or sync again from SharePoint online and the problem resolved after add IN REGEDIT OneDrive 22.x Per-Machine Install - "Something Went Wrong", so does this question still exist? Or do you have any further questions about this thread?
Hey i still have the problem i said about resolved for one laptop but other laptop not resolve until I sync again from SharePoint online the site :(
Please take look at this article:
I tried now to block AffterSentDocuments files to upload them to OneDrive...
Did this is the problem?
The problem I mentioned in the previous question is for everyone who uses the organization and it doesn't make sense that everyone who works with local SharePoint via OneDrive has this problem
