We want to add Windows 10 Feature Updates via Automatic Deployment Rules. In the Rules, I assume that the Product to choose would include "Upgrade & Servicing Drivers" ?

eg. for Windows 10 1903 and later, we should select "Windows 10, version 1903 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers" ?

PS. does Servicing Drivers refer to device drivers or other some other windows components ?

Thanks

    Hi @Albert Pang ,

    Thank you for your feedback!

1, I have done some research on your question. It is recommended that you deploy Feature Updates use Servicing Plans. The "Windows 10 xxxxxx Update and Later Upgrade & Servicing Drivers" does not include Feature Updates. To dispatch the Feature Updates about Windows 10, version1903 and later. We just need to select the product Windows 10, version 1903 and later and the classification Upgrades. The screenshots for your reference:

2, we can use ADR’s to deploy monthly software updates (generally known as Patch Tuesday) and for managing Definition updates. Therefore, I recommend you use Servicing Plans to dispatch Feature Updates.

    Hi @Albert Pang ,

To dispatch Windows 10, version 1903 and later, we just need to select "Windows 10, version 1903 and later" according to your needs and select required Classification.

Windows 10, version 1903 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers is similar to Windows 10 and Later Upgrade & Servicing Drivers: These are drivers that are offered in all Win10 scenarios (i.e., via Orchestrator, DSM, Device Manager, or during DU).

I wouldn't recommend this. Use servicing plans instead if you want to automate the installation of the feature updates.

    Thanks

We've tried Servicing Plans previously, but we'd like to incrementally upgrade from older to newer builds, and not make a huge leap in build levels. And avoid having to create collections of Windows 10 computers based on build level.

If the "Windows 10 xxxxxx Update and Later Upgrade & Servicing Drivers" does include Feature Updates, then we can release Feature Updates incrementally from older to newest.

Would both methods take about the same amount of time to upgrade a build level?
