Hi,

I want to preface this by saying I work in a very small organizations and we don't have any informatic technicians. I am the closest in my organization to that I have a degree in Fine Art so contacting the technician of my organization is not possible as I am the closest to a informatic technician.

I have been stuck on this problem for 2 weeks now and starting to run out of options. I haven't been able to access to one of organization I've been invited to on Teams. Whenever I try to connect it asks for the MFA and the only option is to use the app it doesn't propose me any other options. Yet when I use the app for this organization I don't get the notification and the verification code doesn't work. If I use it for my own organization it does work. I think it is because I have changed phone 2 months ago.

I see only two solutions resetting the phone or the app or getting the guest organization to not use this as an MFA.

Here's what I have tried :

  • Contatcted the guest organization that have informatic technician they told me they couldn't change that I had to change it through my organization
  • I have reset the MFA through Office 365 on the Admin account of my organisation and on the Azur app which I have seen in a blog
  • I have changed the MFA on my own account to only use my phone number or email adress as second verification
  • I have redowloaded the application multiple times and tried to register with a new QR code (didn't work)

If somebody had a similar problem or another way to reset the MFA it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Jasmine Paradis

When users sign into an application or service and receive an MFA prompt, they can choose from one of their registered forms of additional verification. Users can access My Profile to edit or

add verification methods. Enable more than one MFA method so that users have a backup method available in case their primary method is unavailable. Methods include:
