Can we create a Bot using Bot Rest api using teams developer portal

We have Bot Rest API and we would like to create Bot in teams using this existing Bot Rest API via teams developer portal.
Is this doable? If so how can we do this?

We tried this by creating Bot and configured the Bot API from dev portal, but not able get the response from the Bot.

Please advice.

Created Bot from Tools->Bot management->create new bot
configured endpoint address -> https://<domainname>/dev/bots/<botname>/rest/

@prashanthij - There doesn't seem to be any way to create a Bot using Bot Rest API using Teams developer portal.
You can create a bot with the Bot Connector service with the Bot Connector API.

I understand that it does not work with Dev portal.

So, Now I have intranet Bot Rest API, using this I need to create the new Bot in teams.

First thing I need to register my new Bot in Azure.

Then, when user sends message/command in chat window, I need to call my respective Rest API endpoint by sending token and get the response and show the response back to user in chat window as Adaptive card/or normal message

Is this way it works? Please confirm.

Thanks for confirming.
I have tried with this approach... It worked fine locally, But When I deploy my bot in Appservice and tested from Teams, it did not work.
Error getting:
No such host is known. (domain.com:443)

Code snippet:
