Hi all,

So i have a vhdx that crashes it's hostmachine with this stopcode. When i try to mount this disk to another vm sometimes i can mount it but as soon i assign it a driveletter it crashes instantly and sometimes it crashes when i mount it. I want to run a chkdsk but i can't seen to do that. Things i've tried so far:

  • Mount the disk to another machine
  • Mount the disk through powershell - it mounts but cannot assign a driveletter
  • Run a chkdsk on the volume - no result and scan was done in a second, a bit fast for a 3tb drive
  • Load the disk in a 3d party tool - cannot read the data

You guys think this is a lost cause or is there something else i can try?
