Outlook rule issue

Hello,

I have an user with Outlook rule issues. Rules are configured in a way to move e-mails from inbox to a different folder. The problem is that the e-mail in the Inbox remains and it basically just copies this e-mail to the folder (instead of moving).

The view is the same in OWA, but if the rule is configured in OWA it works properly and moves the e-mail. Outlook is working in Online mode.

I tried everything I can think of and even whole Office suite was reinstalled since profile recreation/rule recreation didn't work in the first place.
It is an Exchange Hybrid environment and the mailbox is in o365.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue here?

Kind regards,
Domagoj

    Hi @Domagoj Novak ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What exact rule did you create?

Based on my test, the below rule is useful to move the emails themselves instead of their copies in Inbox folder to another folder. Please refer to it:

    Hope to help you!
