Hello,

I'm trying to upload my app to the microsoft store and it get's rejected because it's hosted on an insecure url and the windows smart screen kicks in on download.

Is there any alternative free hosting service where a version configured path to the .msi can be set up? I don't feel like paying for a hosting service just so that the application publishing downloads it in 2 seconds.

I don't seem to have any other options than giving a download url for the file.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

it get's rejected because it's hosted on an insecure url and the windows smart screen kicks in on download.

Yes, publishing MSI or EXE apps requires a secure url for downloading.

Is there any alternative free hosting service where a version configured path to the .msi can be set up?

I have to say that this question is out of scope of Microsoft Q&A forum. Forum support can't give you suggestions about third-party service or tools.

    Thank you.
