Visual Studio Community 2022 won't close

RRD 16

VS Community 2022 works just fine with OneAPI, but I cannot have it shutdown, either via File Exit or X button, or close window from taskbar.
Have to resort to Task Manager and terminate it.

How can this be fixed?

repair did not fix it, in fact i even installed the latest version, dump below, any suggestion?

oneAPI does not appear to be the issue. I am not using it and have the same problem. Sometimes (but not always), if I have two copies of VS open, I can close one, but the other will not close.

May I ask if the OneAPI you mentioned is Intel OneAPI? May I know the detailed version number of VS 2022 that you are using?

I suggest try to repair VS 2022 first, from VS Installer > find VS 2022 > More > Repair.

Besides, since I can’t confirm whether the issue is caused by OneAPI(maybe compatibility issues, version issues), could you also submit a ticket on Intel Community and our Developer Community for further investigate?
