Microsoft Auth App doesn't recognize valid login email

Trying to add my work account to the Microsoft Authentica app on my iPhone 7 and it says my work email is not valid.

    Might check if it is an older account where a work and personal account share the same email address.

    My work account and home account have two different emails and login info.

    This morning I tried to add my account again in order to get the screen shot to share. The app behaved a different and asked my if the new account was work or home related before asking for my email address. It didn't ask that question yesterday. Today I entered in my work email and it accepted it. Not sure why the difference today. Maybe I was already login in under my home account yesterday? Not, sure be the issue resolved itself. Thanks
