I've hot tried as it is a production system and prefer to not add to anything that may be be an issue
Exch 2019 : Error adding service to SSL cert in ECP
We have a current valid certificate and when I checked the services IIS was not checked as a service to use the cert. I was on our ADC accessing ECP
I checked the box IIS and clicked save and received this error
Is it purely due to me making the change from ADC in ECP or is there a more sinister reason.

As far as I've remembered the SSL certificate needs to be changed on the Exchange Management console website, as well I've searched this article to guide you https://thesysadminchannel.com/update-ssl-certificates-for-exchange-2019/#:~:text=Update%20SSL%20Certificates%20for%20Exchange%202019%20by%20Generating,certificate%20from%20a%20certificate%20authority%20should%20be%20selected
Please let me know if you have another question about it.
Regards,
Fabian Campo.

2022-11-23T11:20:23.283+00:00 We have to assign the self-signed certificate to the Exchange services with PowerShell. Before we do that, grab the thumbprint certificate of the certificate that you like to assign.
