Reading 2 columns from Excel

Good afternoon,

Beginner programmer here so please be gentle!

I'm trying to read in column A and column B from a spreadsheet located on one of our servers to then display in a Datagridview.

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Datagridview not exist in VBA.
Can be a vb.net from Visual studio or check your ActiveX control once again
Can be a ListView from ConnomControl v1 ?

Sorry this is within Visual Studio using vb.net!

I have succeeded in importing the Excel spreadsheet in my DatagridView.....Now to work out how to pull the colours through!

Ok I understand, you tag post suggesting VBA issue.
Change it then if you can.

The way you find based on OLEDB solution using connector. It is fast way to add data to grid. Use it.
2nd way is Excel control references, Early binding is recommended. Open file and take what you want importing to arrays.
That solution giving you possibility to change data on fly before you import do grid.
