Hello everyone,

I collaborate with a company that uses Microsoft services, including MS Teams. On daily basis, I use Google Calendar and try to use the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-on to Chrome to easily set meetings with the rest of the team. Because that feature is not supported for personal accounts, I've been invited to their organization, and of course, I accepted the invitation. I can log in and

Now when logging in and trying to use that add-on I'm getting an error:

Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxx' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.

I tried in incognito, but it doesn't help, I also cleared cookies and cache in my browser.

    Hi @Piotr Nowaczyk

I tested in my lab with a Gmail account (invited as guest to a tenant) and received the same error.

I suppose the cause of this issue is this add-on doesn't support guest accounts.
It is not possible to login to the tenant as a guest so it would default to the personal account which cannot access the application and return the error message.

According to this link, you may need a Microsoft work or school account.

If you have a Microsoft work or school account, install the Teams meeting add-on to your Google Workspace to be able to schedule and join Teams meetings directly from your Google calendar.

Thank you @Kael Yao for your support. That's sad that the Teams add-on doesn't support guests' accounts, maybe they'll change their mind in the future.
