DFS Replication - Server move

Question

Hi, we're moving one of our datacenters, and we have two file servers that share DFS-R Replication groups. For the move, should we disable the member that is being moved? Or should it be suspended? This will take several days. I'm thinking that if you just have one server active in the Replication group, then when the other server is re-enabled, it will receive the updated files. Is that correct? Has anyone done this before, and how has it worked out? Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Based on my research , we can decided to disable or enable the replicated groups depending on our requirements.
Just note that :
After a disabled member is enabled, the member must complete an initial replication of the replicated folder. Initial replication will cause about 1 KB of data to be transferred for each file or folder in the replicated folder, and any updated or new files present on the member will be moved to the DfsrPrivate\PreExisting folder on the member, and it will be replaced with authoritative files from another member.
