Copy files to and from VMs in the Azure Cloud

Question

Dear All,

I need to copy files to and from VMs running in the Azure Cloud. I tried with Bastion but it got quite complicated and I did not succeed yet.
Before pushing forward with this approach, I would like to find out whether there are easier ways to achieve my goal.

Welcome to Microsoft QnA.
You can use SCP to move filed in and out of your Azure VM to your local workstation.
How much data are you planning to copy?
