Azure Blob Lifecycle Management rules are not able to delete the blobs which are older than X days that are having & character in their filename.
We have a rule to delete the blob files after certain period but this rule does not work for some files that have special character (&).

@Anky Since when did you first notice this issue? Can you confirm if this affecting all Blob types including Block and Append blobs? Is there more than one rule in the storage account? Please also supply the code view for the rule that appears to be failing. I am attempting to see if I can replicate this from my side, but any additional information is appreciated. Thanks!

We noticed this after some files were not purged even after purge period passed.

@Anky Thanks for the additional info. I see the rule is now currently disabled. How long was the rule in place and how long ago was the Blob modified? Did you notice if other rules were running on the same Blob?

This is a test rule. The same rule is in production since one month and 10% files are not purged. All others have been deleted successfully.
W replicated the same issue in lower env also.

Yes there are other rules also in same account.
