do we have option to retsore sqldb in azure sql backup to different subscription

Hi Team,

Do we have option to restore sql db from one subscription to another one like azure vm backup?

From azure portal, we are unable to see the selection if different subscription during the sqldb restore

Can you please check and update?

It is SQL for Azure vm backup/restore method, not Azure SQL.

@Siva There is no straight forward way to do it and neither there is any official documentation on this requirement. To accomplish your requirement, you can restore as file in same subscription VM and copy Mdf ldf files to other subcription VM.
