SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint Server Subscription Edition for Production

Hi,
In our organization we have SharePoint 2016 for our intranet with users between 400 to 500 ,now i have plan upgrade to new version of SharePoint,
Is SharePoint Server Subscription Edition is good choise for now for Production use? or i can go with SharePoint 2019

Note thant I have SharePoint 2019 EnterPrise Licence and for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition is additional licencing i required?

    Depends on your requirements. The SharePoint Server Subscription Edition is the newest version (instead of calling it SharePoint Server 2021). I would recommend moving to this product as it will have all of the newest updates.

    You can move directly from SharePoint 2016 to SPSE.

    Yes, you will require licensing for SharePoint Serve Subscription Edition. You will need to do this through Microsoft.
