How to change WSL display language?

    Hi my friend,

    The WSL installation will automatically attempt to change the Ubuntu locale to match the Windows installation locale. If you don't want this behavior, you can run this command to change the Ubuntu locale after the installation is complete. You will need to relaunch your WSL distribution for this change to take effect.

    The example below changes the locale to en-US:
    sudo update-locale LANG=en_US.UTF8
