Automatically mapping SharePoint shortcut to OneDrive

Currently, the way that we are creating the shortcut to the sharepoint library on users OneDrives now is by going to Teams, and on the private channel which is actually a SharePoint directory that stores the files, select Open in SharePoint. Once in SharePoint we copy the URL and send it to the user that needs access (of course post assuring the user has access and security to the SharePoint library has been established) - The user then opens the URL on their end, and once at the SharePoint site we have them select the option 'Add shortcut to OneDrive' and then close the URL site window to avoid them having access. Once they have the shortcut in their OneDrive, they will see it in both the OneDrive webapp and also within File Explorer on a windows machine. The million dollar question here is how can this be automated - preferably via Intune/tied to a azure security group. In other words, the moment the user has been given access to the SharePoint directory via the access security group that is in Azure, it will automatically create the shortcut to their OneDrive? Very similar to the old ways of mapping share drives via a GPO. Hope someone out there is already doing this and can provide some insight. Thank you very much for the help and I appreciate this community.

I also find it hard to believe this can't be automated. C-level ppl do not like the idea of users manually adding all the Document Libraries manually, sure it's easy for me an IT professional, but is that really the audience of SharePoint??
