I have a SQL instance running on MIM106 server whose version is SQL 2016 SP2 (13.0.5893.48)
Can you please Please confirm if MIM application will support SQL 2016 SP3;

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
You need to check the platform for building MIM. If this OS supports SQL 2016, there is no problem.
