Unable to delete onmicrosoft domain in tenant

Hi, I am getting an error when trying to delete an onmicrosot.com domain from one of my AD tenants.

I get this error:

Code: Request_BadRequest
Message: Domain deletion attempt failed.

Google doesn't seem to be much help.

    Make sure the domain isn't marked as your primary domain.
    Also click on the domain and verify there are no resources associated with it.
