I have a new computer with Windows 11. On the text note pad, in the right upper corner are three 'things'; a minus sign, a box and an X. When I put my cursor over the box, a window pops up and shows six options of box alignments. When this happens, at times, I cannot even get past that to do what I want; that is, to enlarge my primary window. So how can I disable this feature?
I hope this makes sense. Thank you for any help.

    Hello there,

It seems like you are asking about the Multitasking that appears when you scroll over the maximize option.

Press Win+I to open Settings, select System, and click Multitasking.
Turn on the Snap windows switch, click the drop-down arrow, and select the six options under Snap windows to enable the split-screen feature.
To disable the feature, turn off the Snap windows switch.
