While scanning On-prem SQL server in Purview, test connection is successful but the scan got failed with an error(Internal System Error)
Latest version of SHIR is used in the same VM of the SQL server

As others suggested this issue requires a deeper investigation in order to figure out the root cause as the error message wasn't very clear to troubleshoot. Hence, we recommend filing a support ticket if you have a support plan. In case if you don't have a support plan, please let me know here.
