On windows 10/11 when I lose internet from dsl modem windows will not let me connect to my routers. When I check why possibly windows says there is no internet and the laptop will not have a ip from my dhcp. I know it’s not a router issue it’s a current windows issue.
Is there something I can change to have windows not think that there might be a wireless modem connected. So I can use my windows laptop to do some diagnostics when I lose Wi-Fi it’s only device I have to do diagnostics when I lose Wi-Fi access without grabbing a Ethernet dongle for the MacBook.
