Hello Everyone,
I've a problem accessing AdminShares (C$, ..) on Windows 10 1909 Clients.
The problem is I'm not getting the "Windows Security popup" where I could insert my domain admin credentials.
Via net use I can access the adminshares, and also from server where I'm authenticated as a domain admin.
So the whole problem is only when I'm logged in as a normal user, since I can't get the authentication popup.

I already had the same problem in another environment, and I can remember it was related to a Group Policy based on the official Microsoft Baseline for 1909.
Problem is I can't remember which one it was.

Had someone the same problem accessing Admin shares ?

Thanks

    Hello,

Have you tried to Map the folder on the windows 10 (client side)?

Can you confirm that the guest account is disabled?

Please try to turn on the password protected sharing (under Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings\all networks).

    Also try clear cached credential
