Deployment application or package

Hi,Team.

I have 2 consultations:

  • If I deploy an application or a package and I set the end date for tomorrow at 07:00 HRs, what happens to the equipment that is turned on after that time or date? Does the application expire? or is it installed as the update patches?

2- If I deploy an application or a package to update it and the user has the application in use what happens? does it install? does it close the program? or would it give an error?

  1. it will install shortly after boot, if there are no maintenance windows.
  2. CM does control this. it will depend on your installer.
