Exchange 2016 with Office 2021 Outlook connect problem

Hi everyone,

I hav a question about outlook connect to our exchange server.
Our Exchange Server is 2016. My team is testing Office 2021 Outlook connect to our Exchange Server.
Outlook will connect to O365 first by default. We want to set client outlook try our Exchange server first.
I have try edit clinet register to disable connect to o365 use ExcludeHttpsRootDomain.
But it's not work. Outlook will go to o365 at first time.

Is there have other way to do that?

Welcome to our forum.

You could try adding the following registry key:

1. Start Registry Editor.
2. Locate and then select the following registry:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover, add ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint DWORD and set its value to "1".

After you add this subkey, outlook client will skip the Office 365 endpoint check and continue with the regular Autodiscover process.
