Good day,
Trying to backup blob storage using Backup vault in Azure.
When I search for dataso
urces I cant find any. I have assigned the required permissions for the Backup vault as per documentation.
Is there something I am missing?

I see that you are trying to configure operational backup for Azure Blobs. As per documentation, you need to assign "Storage Account Backup Contributor role" to the backup vault.
Just wanted you to cross check the selections in the Add role assignment pane.
Under Role, choose Storage Account Backup Contributor.
Under Assign access to, choose User, group or service principal.
If you have followed these steps, then you can ignore the message you are getting.
Note: The role assignment might take up to 30 minutes to take effect.
If you are confident that you have assigned required roles and its been more than 30 minutes, then you can proceed with further process to perform backup.

The permissisn were issued, 24 hours ago.
So not sure what teh issue could be.
I can however see that there is s protection configured for a blob storage, however I dont see any jobs that have ran.

2022-12-02T13:52:17.47+00:00 It looks like either you have not selected the right datasource while configuring backup policy or the datasource selected is not available or deleted. I suggest you to re-verify the steps to configure backup policy to ensure the backups work as per schedule. 2022-12-05T04:50:45.587+00:00 The DataSource I selected was Azure Blob Storage.
I have followed the documentation shared but I still don't see any data sources or even backup jobs ran.
