My old computer always used to go to sleep when the battery died, which meant that all my pages were still there when I charged it again. About 2

Now I have a new computer and it turns off instead instead. Which means losing all the pages or programs I was working on. I have already found a similair question on answers.microsoft but this did not resolve the problem and was to no use.

Might check with the pc manufacturer to see if hibernate is available.

Try enabling fast startup, see if that helps.
