Other user cannot sign in Windows 11

In Windows 11 (Home, 22H2), I created under "Family" and also "Other users" in the account setting my wife as a user. When signing out and getting to the blue startup page, her name appears in the bottom left corner.
Clicking on her name brings up a new screen with her login name and "Sign in" written underneath.
However, clicking on Sign in gives a very brief "Welcome" note, then the same screen returns, and that was it! Nothing happens. I can still click on my name and sign in, but under my wife's name, nothing happens.
Any idea how to fix it?

    @Wolfgang Meyer

Windows 11 Home generally requires a Microsoft Account in order to login. Can also try changing the account to an Admin rather than Standard to see if that helps. If you haven't been able to use the profile yet, try deleting the profile and then re-adding with these steps:

Add or remove accounts on your PC

If needed, you can test that the Microsoft Account is active by using your working login and in Edge launch an "InPrivate Window" and try to sign in to outlook.com or OneDrive, to confirm the account access. Then re-try logging into the machine as the other account.

Try to login to your account, and use netplwiz command to open User accounts.

Reset password for your wife's user account. This ensures a password is added to her account.

If that doesn't works, you can try creating a new account for your wife.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Kapil.
    Thanks for your reply.
I followed your instruction. When clicking on my wife;s account in the user list, it says "You cannot change the password..."
When hitting the Add-button, it asks with which email address she will sign in. I supply the address, it says she will be asked to give a password on restart. But when hitting the Next-button, a message appears that she has already a Microsoft account on this computer.
I finish anyway and restart. No change, she cannot sign into the computer.
I am relactent to delete her since the Office 365 programs work, and I am worried that I have to start this from scratch.
Is there any other way? see also the screenshot267845-screenshot-20221206-182138.png

Dear all, I hope some had this experience and managed to resolve it as I have same experience. I added my wife as her Family Microsoft Account to Windows 11 and I cannot make her sign it. Whenever I want to sign in her email it just loops and backs me again to the same login screen. Is there any solution? I also need to mention that on my main profile I have M365 business account, so maybe there is some issue there? I have done this on several different computers, and it has always worked until now. What is the issue? Regards, Marko User's image
