Service Provider Microsoft.Storage stuck at registering

Following the Social MSDN post on this issue - yesterday at about 20:00 or 21:00 CEST I tried to register Microsoft.Storage provider and it is stuck on registering state.
THere is nothing I can do about it, please help.

    Our internal product team was able to find the issue and have deployed a fix. I tested and confirmed I was able to Unregister and Register Microsoft.Storage without issue. Please check and retry your registration at your convenience.

    Same problem for 2 different tenants. Microsoft.Storage state is stuck on "Registering" since 2 days ...

    Same issue on Microsoft.Storage happens on my tenant. Tried un-registering and registering, but it does not work...

    Same issue for me too. Stuck for the last 2 days and this looks very odd for someone coming from AWS and Google cloud. This is very frustrating and overall I am very disappointed with Azure in addressing this simple problem.
