Azure Deploy agent

I have an AppService on a private DNS. I am trying to set-up CI/CD through piplines. The issue I am having is with the release pipeline, it can't see the KUDU endpoint which means that I would need an agent that would facilitate the deployment process. My question is how do I start? In other words, where do I exactly look or what to look for that would help me accomplish this task?

    If you are having issues accessing the KUDU endpoint with Private DNS Zones, the bottom of this section outlines the additional records needed for KUDU to work via the Private Endpoint.
