I am looking to create a shared contact resource for all our users to access via their mobile phones.

The key feature is that the names & numbers are made available to the actual device so that the user can see the name of the caller.

I am looking to deploy a Shared mailbox with all the contact info, as this can be made available to the device - is there a limit to the number of separate mobile devices that can access a shared mailbox???

We have approx 250 users.

There is no official limit for a shared mailbox maximum access for Exchange Online. On-prem its 32 sessions, but either way, you do risk hitting some max and all the users may not be able to connect at once. You will have to try it out :)

    Hi @Alistair McIntosh ,

    Welcome to our forum.

As Andy said, there is no official documentation that shared mailboxes have access limitations. However, we don't recommend that many users access shared mailboxes at the same time, they may intermittently fail to connect to this mailbox or have inconsistencies.
