Please I'm using MSVS2019 and I have installed Microsoft Installer Projects and is visible under Manage Extensions. When I tried adding a new project to the Vb.net project, I could not find the Setup Project in the list. I've searched and searched within the list but to no avail. Please could someone help me with it? Thanks

It is just called Setup Project. Open the New Project dialog and then go to the search field in the top right. Then type in Setup and wait for it to find it. If you don't see it after it finishes loading then ensure you actually installed the extension and didn't just tell it to install but it hasn't installed yet. Extensions require that you restart VS and the extension gets installed after VS shuts down. Note that if you have multiple instances of VS running then you generally have to shut them all down.

Thanks for your message. In fact the extension is installed and ticked and is clearly visible. Just that I do not find it the Add New Project after hitting the search button. I just do not know what's happening because it was there a couple of months ago and has mysteriously vanished from the list. Any idea is welcomed. Thanks
