Azure Site Recovery initial replication failed

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to replicate VM from VMWare to Azure with ASR.

When i do the initial replication i have the following errors :

Error ID : 539
Error Message : The requested action couldn't be performed by the Replication Provider.
Possible causes : The Provider action failed. Check other errors for more information.
Recommendation : Resolve the issue and retry the operation.

Error ID : 310146
Error Message : The operation to update the necessary tags failed on the machine 'CCO-ASR-01'.
Possible causes : The operation could not be completed due to failure of application of necessary tags.
Recommendation : Retry the operation. If the problem persists, contact support.

On the VM, the agent seems to be well installed.

I've tried to uninstall the agent, manually install, reinstall the appliance, use a new RSV, use a new VM to replicate, but it's always the same error.

II couldn't find any forum talking about this error.

I understand that you are trying to replicate VM from VMWare to Azure but its failing with errors 539 and 310146. Also, you tried uninstalling the agent, manually installed, reinstalled the appliance, used a new RSV, used a new VM to replicate, but it's giving the same error.

Uninstall the older version of the mobility service (Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall the ASR Mobility Service)
Reboot the server
Re-try the enable protection operation.
