Hello

It takes a long time to get the SQL Server 2019 standard license key

The 7-day temporary license key is registered and in use.

I want to change the license key that I recently purchased, how can I change it?

    How to change the product key, follow these steps:

    1. In the ‘SQL Server Installation Center’, go to ‘Maintenance’ > ‘Edition Upgrade’.
    2. Follow the instructions in the wizard to enter the new product key.
    3. Finally, run select @@version to check the version after installation.
      For detailed information about the license issue, you can call 1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist. Or you can go to Volume Licensing Service Center support. Please choose region/language and choose to call or have web.

    Hello

    While trying to Change the current licensed key on an existing licensed "SQLServerStandardEdition2019English64-bit", following the method mentioned ,

    1. In the ‘SQL Server Installation Center’, go to ‘Maintenance’ > ‘Edition Upgrade’.
    2. Follow the instructions in the wizard to enter the new product key. All steps were completely successfully Restarted the SQL instance When checking the changed key value, seeing the old key value In the registry, the Product Code is same as before (unchanged) Rebooted the server, no change in any values Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.     I am facing the same situation as you did when changing the license key, can you share the solution you did to solve this problem?
