SCOM 2012 R2: Is there any way to monitor Windows Server 2022?

Hi, I'm new here.

I have provisioned a new VM with Win Server 2022 DC OS.
My question is, would SCOM 2012 R2 be able to monitor Win Server 2022?

I saw a post in the forum saying that SCOM 2012 R2 supported Win Server 2019.

Will the MP for 2016 and above works the same for Win Server 2022 as in Win Server 2019?

    Even if unsupported, the MP should work

    Hi,

    Unfortunately SCOM 2012 R2 does not officially support monitoring Windows Server 2022 operating systems.

    The SCOM version that supports monitoring Windows Server 2022 is System Center Operations Manager 2016, 2019 and 2022.
