How do I check, if my Azure is based on Azure Free Account?
First I thought this is easy to find out, but it is not.
There is so much marketing around the topic Azure Free Account that it is difficult to find out weather my Azure environment is free or not.
Observation:
The subscription I am working with contains:
Field Plan: Azure Plan

Should the subscription indicate weather it is free or not? ; like Plan: Free Account ??

The bill for October stated: Due date: No payment needed

Fields like Spending rate and forecast, Costs by resource - indicate - that someone has to spend money (maybe the marketing budget of Microsoft?)
Limit exceeded : 0

The link My Microsoft Account at the top right corner in https://portal.azure.com/ does not say anything about Azure (it is doing Marketing for M365; not for Azure).

Any ideas?

    Hi,

The free account is a trial account for the users to test and learn about azure. did you receive any email from microsoft regarding the activation of the free account? can you check your inbox? Also check in the settings about as in the image below what subscription it has mentioned.

    Hi @matjung ,

this way you can check the Azure Offer type of your subscription(s):

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/costs/understand-cost-mgt-data#determine-your-offer-type

A list of different Azure Offer types you can find here:

    Hi @Andreas Baumgarten
Your first link is writing about Offer and Offer ID - my subscription neither contains an Offer nor Offer ID!
Does your subscription contain an Offer ID?

In October I received a mail from azure-noreply@microsoft.com Welcome to your Azure free account
I try to find evidence somewhere inside portal.azure.com that it is still free.
