Storage-Account connection with Backup-Vault disappeared from 150 plus storage accounts

Storage-Account connection with Backup-Vault disappeared from 150 plus storage accounts.

Checkbox: Storage-Account -> Data protection -> Enable operational backup with Azure Backup

This checkbox is unchecked (?)

Tried to re-connect with Backup-Vault.
This gives an error Message: Datasource is already protected under the backup-vault.

Hi, we have a simular problem, the operational backup option for about 28 storage accounts is cleared, on all our backup vaults the policies are gone !

The issue seems to be out of scope for support over a public forum. Because this needs to be investigated further to understand the root cause and that is only possible through Azure support request. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.
