Hello Team,
I'm trying to restore my VM to another subscription using azure backup, and it's failling with following error :
Error Code
UserErrorCrossSubscriptionRestoreInvalidTargetSubscription
Error Code
Operation failed as the target subscription specified for restore is not registered to the Azure Recovery Services Resource Provider
Recommended action
Please ensure the target subscription is registered to the Recovery Services Resource Provider before attempting a cross subscription restore
Any idea how to fix it?
Hi,
Not sure if you know that Cross Subscription restore is in preview mode and you might have some issues as it is still not production ready. However you can check the points and see if you have completed the requirements for cross subs restore process.

I was able to fix the issue
I registered my new Subscription with the recovery service vault resource provider, and i was able to restore a cross my new Subscription
