Corrupted 2016 Office Pro Outlook with Windows 11

What to do next is my question:

After the November update, my purchased Office Pro 2016 Outlook became corrupted. I've been running the recommended scan pst file for weeks now some days many times. A few of the pst files are ok and are back in a profile. The main current file is still corrupted. When I've done the Office Repair, all it does is load something from 365. No files are repaired.

Thank you for your help.

    Hi @CecileBetit-8924 ,

    Welcome to our forum!

After the November update, my purchased Office Pro 2016 Outlook became corrupted.

Do you mean that Outlook desktop client become corrupted?
If so, is there any error? If possible, please provide the screenshot about it. (To avoid your privacy leakage, please remember to hide your private information.)

According to your description, i notice that you have scanned your .pst files. Are those PST files your current account data files or files you manually added to Outlook?

In terms of Outlook client, we can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1.Please first check the version of your Outlook (File > Office Account > About Outlook) and make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.
2.Considering that it may be caused by the damage of the profile/data file in the Outlook client, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.
3.Considering the impact of some add ins, It is suggested that you try to start outlook in safe mode(win+R>type: outlook /safe) to check whether it works normally.

Hope to help you! If the above doesn't help, please provide more information about your case.

    Yes!

If so, is there any error? If possible, please provide the screenshot about it. (To avoid your privacy leakage, please remember to hide your private information.) Unfortunately when the problem occurred, the message didn’t stay for more than a few seconds. I didn’t have time to read it fully,

According to your description, i notice that you have scanned your .pst files. Are those PST files your current account data files or files you manually added to Outlook?
    • Five of my pst files (those that I was not using) have found their way back to their old profile.
    • I have a large file that I am continuing to scan.

In terms of Outlook client, we can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1.Please first check the version of your Outlook (File > Office Account > About Outlook) and make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.
    * I am more than discouraged. It seems I have lost control of my purchased Office Pro 2016. In the Office Repair, in a very few minutes all that happened is that 365 was downloaded. No files were Involved. I don’t want 365. Please note: It was after an update that my Outlook that I use for so much went down. There is no longer any access to tech folk.

2.Considering that it may be caused by the damage of the profile/data file in the Outlook client, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.
    * I have made a new profile and will use it for the current corrupted file if I can get it clean.

3.Considering the impact of some add ins, It is suggested that you try to start outlook in safe mode(win+R>type: outlook /safe) to check whether it works normally.
*I have started Outlook in Safe Mode. I haven’t tried it with the corrupt file. I will do that. I don't use many add ins.
*You have given me an idea that I will implement later. I will set up the new profile to be used to download the webmail account I’ve been using. This is very helpful.
Hope to help you! If the above doesn't help, please provide more information about your case.
    * I have had a corrupted file for a month. I need a way that is more effective for a large file than the current scan mechanism. There have been ways of working with Outlook files.
