I have a windows server 2019 virtual machine on an external hosting and I want to authenticate on that machine with my azure ad users, how can I do it? Without adding additional costs in azure. Thank you
Assuming it's an Azure VM (you mention external hosting) then you should read this document fully as there may be some implications depending on your setup.

The windows server 2019 is not in azure, it is a VPS outside of azure. That is why I indicate that it is external.
I don't think this is possible. You might be able to hybrid join the VM for device management purposes but for user authentication I don't think this will do what you want outside of Azure.
