There was this known article, but nearly 3y old now : Visual Basic support planned for .NET 5.0
They did not add VB by default in recent WinUI (C#, C++)

Its my understanding that support for VB.net is changing and/or being eliminated by Microsoft in upcoming versions of Visual Studio.
I have searched the internet for more information on this, but have not found anything definitive from Microsoft.
Can you get some clarity around this?
I don’t want to simply migrate all of our code (a few million lines) if I don’t have to.

Going forward, we do not plan to evolve Visual Basic as a language.**It's my understanding that VB.Net will be maintained but will no longer evolved like C# and F#.
