Good Afternoon All,

In the network I work for a TM noticed a Teams Meeting invite was sent out but she did not send it or make any changes. There were 2 Meeting Set up about 6 months ago and the invites were sent to everyone. The meetings were set up to be weekly meetings and only just the one invite was sent. Now she noticed both invites were sent again under her account but she did not make any changes to the meeting or send them.

I did a message trace in O365 Admin and it does show the invites being sent by the TM but when I checked her Sent Folder it does not show any invites being sent by her. Checked with her and she advised no changes were made to the meetings. Can someone please advise what I can check/if this is a known issue and if a fix/workaround is being worked on or if anyone has one?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Cross, Justin

Now she noticed both invites were sent again under her account but she did not make any changes to the meeting or send them.

May I ask how did she notice the invites were sent? Did some of the attendees receive the email and notice her?

I did a message trace in O365 Admin and it does show the invites being sent by the TM but when I checked her Sent Folder it does not show any invites being sent by her.

Did she have her account logged in some other devices (especially on mobile) at that time?
Please also have a check for the timestamp when the email was sent in the Azure Active Directory sign-in logs to see if you can get more information (like email client, ip address).

To my knowledge this issue may often be caused by mobile email applications syncing with the calendar.

    Thank you KaelYao-MSFT

TM informed me a change was made to her account and did cause a re-sync. I was not able to see it but found they sync went through the same time the invited went through.

The other members of the team meeting accepted the invites and they started coming into her inbox.

Yes anyone at this company with a work phone and desktop has Teams and Outlook on both devices. She did not have her phone opened at the time of the invites being sent. It was locked.
I will check with Azure Active Directory sign-in logs to see if something was synced at that time.

I will update upon completion of Azure.

I checked Azure Sign-ins and she did not have any syncs/sign-ins at the time of the invites.
