How do I unlock Microsoft authentication

How do I unlock Microsoft authenticator on my android phone when it is locked and I can't access the settings menu. I set it up to be fingerprint recognition

Nothing to do with authenticator app. Hopefully you have an alternate pin and or pattern unlock method.
