New small form factor machines with Windows 10 are failing to run regasm.exe. The application hangs and does nothing no matter the arguments provided. Even running "regasm /?" fails (hangs). Nothing can be found in the event log. The exe has to be terminated using task manager. This started on brand new machines being setup for clients with a fresh install of Windows 10 and .Net 4.8. I have even tried upgrading to .Net 4.8.1 and the issue remains. This was successfully used on previous machines with .Net 4.7.2 and below. Any help, suggestions, things to try is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to use it in Visual Studio Developer PowerShell?
No, these systems do not have visual studio, but interesting idea.
Update - we found other issues with the OS install. Had our IT team start over with a different Windows image and now regasm is working fine.
