Maui WebView flickering

My .NET MAUI WebView has been flickering for the last few months, and I have no idea why since it worked perfectly fine when I first implemented it.
Is there any way to get rid of the flickering webview?

Have you tried turning off hardware acceleration to WebView?

On Android, sometimes hardware acceleration can cause flickering issues with certain views.

You could try the following function in your page.xaml.cs file:

void ModifyWebView() { Microsoft.Maui.Handlers.WebViewHandler.Mapper.AppendToMapping("MyCustomization", (handler, view) => { #if ANDROID handler.PlatformView.SetLayerType(Android.Views.LayerType.Software, null); #endif }); }

The webview disappeared entirely when I added it, but thanks for the help
