Same problem
Remote Desktop Mac client not working after upgrade to 10.8.0
Hi,
I am using Microsoft Remote Desktop on Mac to connect to windows remote apps everyday ( https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/microsoft-remote-desktop/id1295203466 ).
After upgrading to version 10.8.0 today (build 2032), I can't connect anymore.
It fails with error code 0x300006c. Unable to connect.
The workspace is correctly connected to the gateway. I am able to see the list of my applications.
Issue repoduced on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 and Mac OS Monterey 12.6
Windows clients, and iOS clients can connect successfully to the target apps.

2022-12-22T12:00:37.393+00:00 Actually I went into the same trouble and tried to find answers for over 10hrs and I couldn't get the solution.
I realised later that the issue was actually my VPN CLIENT which was activated hence changing the NIC configurations and how they are perceived on the network.
SOLUTION:
- Disable VPN CLIENT
- Start Microsoft Remote Desktop <have the latest installed vers.10.8.0 (2032)
- Connect to Remote Desktop
Successful!!!
